Today’s one-word prompt: Journey

Take a journey. Take a journey down a long and winding road.  Take a journey through a crowded major city.  See the sights, indulge in the smells, listen to the sounds.

Plan your journey.  If you’re anything like me, you want to find out how much things cost, how much getting there will cost, and how you will actually get there.  Knowing the who, the what, the how, and the where resolve the why of what it is your journey will involve.

Is this journey personal?  Is the journey to resolve a purpose, answer a calling, or just something you’ve always wanted to do?  Or is it something you decided you would really like to do, like say, next week?

Take a Journey of the mind.  The mind is a powerful tool, meant to be used for the purpose of thinking and existing.  And rather than allowing yourself to just exist, take a journey of the mind – go where you want, without cost or consequence.

Wherever the journey, and however you get there, may the road be smooth!
