#FlashbackFriday Cinch Sak!

And the only trash bag that can survive a literal circus!

And by circus, I mean Monday – Thursday.

Yes, even Thursday.

Though Thursday got cleaned up, after all.  In fact, the astronauts that use Glad trash bags cleaned up space, and made it free from the clutter of Giant Soviet Union Bolts and Alan Shepard’s golf balls.

It was quite dramatic, actually.  They never got mad…they got Glad.

Today, we shift our attention from the calm of space, to the circus (literally), and to the competitor’s whimpy trash bags.

Can just any bag stand up to the circus?

I think the answer is no, judging by the clown’s face.  Perhaps being glad is ironic when your trash bag breaks in the middle of such a scene.  He just got mad…and sad.

No Glad here.

Just a Hefty Hefty Cinch Sak!

We prefer Hefty Cinch Sak!

And now circus-proof!

The good news about this week’s commercials is that both Glad and Hefty are still going strong in the competitive world of trash bag buying.  Glad has been around for 55 years and is owned by Clorox (80% ownership) and Procter and Gamble (20%).  Hefty is currently owned by Reynolds Consumer Products Inc.  They brands that are more than trash bags – both have plastic containers and food storage bags.  Hefty also makes disposable cookware and storage bins.

A hefty high note…something to be GLAD about!

Yeah, I’ll stop.

Well, that does it for this week.  We really cleaned up here, didn’t we?

What, you come here for light stuff and I deliver.  It’s not that complicated.

Anyway, have a fantastic Flashback Friday, and a great weekend!

Is it me, or does Sad Clown have an “ay dios mio!” look?
