It’s Good To Be #FlashbackFriday!

Yes, yes it is.

This week, we’ve kicked off Christmas with two commercials from the archives, and we’re focusing on the sweeter side of the holidays. Yesterday, a little kid sees all the presents Santa left her, but Lifesavers in a little storybook box were what she really wanted.

Today, we’re putting up the tree, the lights, and baking up something sweet.

The year is 1989, and the sweetness we are baking up is Nestle Tollhouse Cookies!

OMG, these always looked amazing in the commercials!

Cookies and Christmas trees…it’s good to be home!

I love Nestle Tollhouse Semi-Sweet Morsels, they are amazing. I’ve baked (and eaten) the pull apart cookies – just break apart the dough and bake them for the pre-determined time. They taste just as amazing as scratch baking!

In Disney World, at Epcot’s The Land Pavilion, there is a stand that sells these cookies in the food court. When I was there in 2007, my mom and I had cookies, and oh my, they were Disney and Nestle Magic combined!

And now I want Tollhouse cookies!

I don’t think I have to tell you these morsels are still a thing, people are still making cookies out of them, and there has been literally no change to the bag design whatsoever. It retains that wonderful little piece of nostalgia that is often lost over time with products that endure and stay on the market. Nothing fancy, and no fixing something that isn’t broken.

Life is sweet!

Life will continue to be sweet throughout the month of December, as Allison’s Written Words Countdown to Christmas continues on.

But for now, have a fantastic Flashback Friday, and a great weekend!
