Minimal

Today’s Daily Post one-word promp: Minimal.

Very few

-ist

Small in amount

Few demands, wants, and needs

The least amount of something needed.

And my favorite definition of minimal:

An approach to artwork, characterized by “the use of simpler or primary forms/structures, especially geometric or massive ones.”

There was this really cool subject I spotted online about two years ago that involved the use of minimalist art to create movie posters for classic movies.  It is a fascinating concept, and one that proves that the poster should never be the determining factor of a movie we want to see.

There is a great gallery of these concepts on Google Images, and by clicking the link, I don’t think you will be disappointed.
