When you do something scary or stressful — bungee jumping, public speaking, etc. — do you prefer to be surrounded by friends or by strangers? Why?
I prefer to have friends surrounding me when I do something scary or stressful. My friends know my personality, and in the rare instance anxiety strikes me, they can talk me down. My boyfriend and one of my friends know my personality well enough that they know how to calm and reassure me. When it comes to strangers, I’m afraid of being judged, so I wouldn’t want them to witness the very moment I freak out about something.
