Merry Christmas Eve, friends, followers, and Friend Followers!
Welcome to Week 3 of our Countdown to Christmas 2015, third in a four week series of videos highlighting the sponsor plug videos for Kraft during the December 6, 1986 one-time airing on The Christmas Toy.
If you have been around for Week 1 and Week 2, you’ve seen Kraft TV Recipes cover the art of creating delicious hostess gifts, and ideal food to serve at a tree trimming party. And if you’re a cynic like me, you’re aware of the fact that reality says you’ll never have the time to create such elaborate culinary delights unless you have, well, the entire month of December to do so.
And since most of us don’t have that kind of time and/or energy to create these amazing feasts for the eyes, we’ll treat them just like that…feasts for the eyes.
Since today is Christmas Eve, I think it would only be natural to take a look at all the “feasts for the eyes” one can make when hosting a holiday party…not to be confused with the tree trimming party.
Hopefully, Kraft is only suggesting you do this stuff, and not commanding you to do so.
Your guests will have an amazing party. You just will not be part of making it amazing, other than being the slave working in the kitchen on this amazing spread.
NOT PICTURED: You. You are not here. No singing Christmas carols or feasting of the eyes and mouth for you.
So let’s see what we’re serving up at this party, shall we?
Colorful cheesy fruit dip, made with applesauce, cinnamon, pecans…and Cheez Whiz processed cheese sauce.
Sandwiches made with meat and Kraft Parmesan Cheese!
Cheesy Zucchini Casserole!
(This looks good!)
Marinated Vegetable Salad!
And now, witness the glory of the party food being made…with Kraft!
Celebrate the season indeed.
Merry Christmas Eve, everyone!
Seriously, do people host this many parties during the holidays?
