Google and Rescue Operation

Ah, these random shufflings of Daily Post Writing Prompts.  This one is from November 6, 2013.

What was the last thing you searched for online? Why were you looking for it?

The last thing I searched for on Google was “corsages for bridesmaids.”

I’m getting married next year, and I’ve been Google searching all kinds of ideas – the type of wedding reception I want to have, venues, researching various aspects of planning, favors, invitations, costs, and themes.  That’s not an exhaustive list of everything I’ve looked up in the last two weeks.  Last night, while I was watching TV, I decided that wrist corsages was my random topic of choice.

I’m going for non-traditional in some/most areas of what I want.  In order to keep costs low, and because my Matron of Honor has a flower allergy, I decided wrist corsages are a good way to go.  I’m going for a Beauty and the Beast theme, so I am thinking a single red rose.

Usually, I use Google for “forces of evil” – translation: writing research.  Now, I am actually putting it to good use!
