1980s sibling band that hasn’t been around in years, a type of Kool-Aid that hasn’t existed in years…must be a commercial I found!
Two years ago…
And a short time after that…
There was this magical time (ok, two magical times – once in 1986, the other in 2015) when juice commercials act like juice is cool, brag openly about “now with 20% juice!” and manage to come back in the 2010’s with a different name, and…even less juice. Like the absolutely minimum it could have. Like 0%.
In 1987, sibling band The Jets were at the height of their fame. Siblings (the oldest of 15 children), Leroy, Haini, Rudy, Kathi, Elizabeth, and Moana Wolfgramm, as well as adopted siblings Eddie Lavatai and Eugene Hunt, enjoyed success during the mid-1980s. It was, of course, only natural that they would do a commercial.
I give you, Kool-Aid Koolers!
And I also give you…The Jets, singing this extended version of the Kool-Aid Koolers song!
This. Is. A. Thing.
Can you? Can you make it Kooler?
Kool-Aid couldn’t even make it real, you can make it cool? And not “cool” in the conventional sense, but “kool” as in…
I give up. This stuff will never be real.
Might as well let it be Kool.
…er.
